The Overview

Proudly presented with sensible miles in well-sorted, straight and solid condition this well-cared-for example has been under previous ownership for 7 years. Throughout this period the car has been pampered and maintained by Volkswagen specialist of Berkshire VRT. It’s been treated to a few subtle top-of-the-range modifications such as a full non-resonated Milltek stainless steel exhaust system, manifold and some KW Coilovers. Anything this car has needed within the last 7 years has been done, regardless of cost. We have every invoice to warrant and it’s also just been serviced and MOT’d at VRT, showing no advisories. Most importantly the the MOT history on this example checks out beautifully having never seen a dreaded corrosion advisory throughout its VOSA history. The underside is very clean and straight. The leather interior unfortunately isn’t original and looks to of been fitted at some point, as the original fabric door cards are still in place. Of course, being a nearly 30-year-old sports car it’s seen some paint at some point over the years, unfortunately, there appears to of been a reaction in the paint down both rear quarters of the car and on the door, this has been reflected in the price. Apart from this the rest of the paint stands in good health and is looking actually quite impressive. The car drives beautifully, pulls extremely well, and drives and brakes in a straight line. There are matching continental tyres all around in good health with plenty of treads. This would make for an ideal light project working from a solid and straight example, should you wish to take it to the next level with possibly a respray on both sides or just to be enjoyed as it is, it’s by no means a shabby-looking example, the imperfections in the paint are really only noticed upon closer inspection.
